I have always liked Majorette diecast cars. This is especially so for Made in France Majorette cars.
“Voiture Miniature En Metal” in french simply means “Miniature Metal Car”.
This Majorette Ford Transit Jack’s Towing Truck is still in its original blister. I like the nice tampos and red is a very striking colour for a tow truck.
Its top had been cut off, why did that happen? Your answer is as good as mine. The top portion of the carded car was probably cut off due to the candy that came bundled with it.
This is a Japan release in early 1990s and even till this day, there are still Kabaya Majorette releases in major supermarkets in Japan.
Back in the early 2000s, I was still able to get Kabaya Majorette diecast cars in Supermarkets and Provision Shops located in Singapore. Now, I do not see them anymore. Basic Majorette diecast cars can still be found in Toy Stores though.
Made in France, to be precise it was in Lyon. Nowadays, they are made in Thailand.
